Rasheem Davis began riding with Pegasus at the age of three, and over the years advanced to be quite the talented equestrian. He worked hard to improve his strength and balance each ride and would arrive early to help staff with whatever they needed. Rasheem was welcoming to everyone and was always there to help other families get ready for lessons. With over thirty years of dedication, he became one of the most accomplished participants. From competing in the Pegasus Annual horse show, to taking home blue ribbons at the Therapeutic Division of The Devon Horse Show there was no challenge Rasheem did not face head on. Rasheem embodied our mission at Pegasus whole-heartedly, just by being himself. All proceeds from this event will go directly towards ensuring our program can continue to serve individuals like Rasheem. His passion and spirit will live on in the words of our mission to guide staff, riders, and volunteers to ensure their goals are met. His caring nature, warm heart, and helping hand will be missed but never forgotten.
